My belated attempt at putting a Gears Horror Capsule (tm) to use, which I have shamefully sat on for over two years.

I like most all of it, except for "a large energy spike" which I find very Star Trek; thermal energy, electric energy, EM, etc? I like to imagine it's kinetic and everything flew off to the left…
Upvoting for political refugee space frogs that don't know how their technology works!
I like the setup here, and the fact that the Foundation has elected to keep these critters locked up near the horse they rode in on, despite them being terrified and pleading for help. The implied threat is a little too vague to do much for me, though. Maybe that's intentional, but I hoped that whatever the 975-2 were running from would be a bit weirder, if that makes any sense.
The whole scenario reminds me of the GRRM short story "Dark, Dark Were The Tunnels" which is definitely not a bad thing.
Maybe I'm wrong and it's NOT political. Maybe it's a multidimensional French restaurant…
A radioactive multidimensional French restaurant.
(Sorry to any radioactive multidimensional French people who I've space-offended).
Investigation by armed response personnel immediately afterward reported that one of the SCP-975-2 instances was missing a leg
Space frogs being eaten by space frogs, lordamercy.
The three biggest problems I have with this article are:
That is very obviously not an infrared image.
I kept reading the dialogue as that one flock of seagulls song.
The description of the creatures made me picture battletoads.
The other problems mostly stem from the fact that it's a boring "portal to elsewhere from which strange creatures stumble, here have a log" cliche type SCP written in an overcasual conversational tone that grates on me as I read. Anyway, downvoted.
I don't like the poor English for the logs; they remind me too much of the pre-rewrite dinosaur scientist (Too lazy to find and link the designation). Maybe add a note saying the interview was translated from the language that they speak, since I'm also sick of untranslatable languages.
