I really like the idea on my current project (although obviously you guys might not), but I don't feel satisfied with how it is right now. I'd like some feedback and suggestions, if it's not too much to ask.
This sounds very much like…. God I can't remember the name off the top of my head. Experimental ship that was supposedly being used to test "cloaking fields" or the like, vanished, reappeared some time later with people melted into the walls/floors and such. Apparently subjected to time/dimension travel, if one believes the stories that any of this actually happened.
Only now it seems like you're applying this idea to the space shuttle, and the real life destruction of it was a cover story? Tssss… I dunno about that.
It isn't the Philadelphia Experiment you're thinking of, is it?
Yeah, I don't know about this one. We already have a mysterious vehicle that travels throughout space (SCP-907), and I'd really advise you not to reference the Columbia disaster. If anything is going to brew up a shitstorm, it's going to be that.
I changed it from Columbia to OV-100 (designation was never assigned, "missing orbiter"). The plan was originally to have it be OV-100, but my friend suggested a Columbia coverup, and I rolled with it. I realize now that, yeah, it would probably start a shitstorm.
I'll go back through later and fix any references I missed.
