Hi ladies and gents. I'm working on coming up with some ideas to make SCP-1138, an idea I posted earlier this week, more interesting. I've taken it down for now for reworking, but here's the basic premise.
SCP-1138 is a young couple consisting of a mystery frat boy and a mystery sorority girl that appears at any University or College with chapters of both groups. SCP-1138-A is the girl, Katie, and SCP-1138-B is the guy, Rick. There's a different instance of them at every one of those schools but they always look and behave exactly the same. Rick and Katie stay at their locations and repeat the same calender of events every year (one of THOSE SCPs), and go unnoticed through Katie's selective amnesia-inducing abilities (basically she can make anyone forget anything she wants as long as it's about SCP-1138). Originally that was it. However I'm coming up with ideas to make them more interesting/threatening. Here's some thoughts.
Both: Highly-persuasive in conversation (I named an incident where Katie convinced a Foundation Agent who was trying to question her into opening fire on his colleagues)
Both: Quantum teleportation (IE, they can 'teleport' anywhere so long as they are not being observed). This ability is limited to doors; they can teleport anywhere as long as they can emerge from a door. If one half of SCP-1138 is isolated, the other half will almost immediately arrive to back them up.
Rick: I'm not sure exactly how to put this into clinical wording, but in order to make up for Katie's amnesiafication, Rick can be the more 'physical' of the two. Anytime one of its brothers or sisters are 'threatened', Rick appears with a bunch of 'friends' to rough up whoever's causing them a problem, but those friends disappear as soon as there's not a problem any more. I don't want to call that 'summoning' or making 'clones' or something that makes him sound like a boss from a video game.
Is there anything y'all would add? I'm not trying to make them outright evil, but just very protective of themselves and their brothers/sisters, if that makes sense.
