I've just finished up an audio drama Foundation Tale (hopefully the first of many). For the time being, I'll link to it from the Foundation Tales page, but I'm wondering if I might create an index page for such work. If audio dramas were easily a solo exercise, I'm not sure if I'd suggest this. Similarly, I probably wouldn't go there if I wasn't planning on making more, encouraging others to do so, and asking for co-conspirators collaborators. However, since it (often) takes a group, it might be nice to have a spot for consolidating completed projects, volunteer actors/sound engineers/sfx artists/etc., links to sandbox entries relating to works-in-progress, and the like. I am also imagining that establishing the infrastructure will encourage sound engineers other than myself to step forward and work on audio projects better than exists already.
I figured I should run this by the admins rather than just going trigger-happy on page creation and cross-linking, since it would be an addition to the site's architecture, rather than a simple story upload.
I've created a demo version of this page in the sandbox. This page is my ambitious humble personal proposal for setting up the audio tale index, and how I would do it myself if I were coding it, but I'm fine if the admins have a different idea on how they want the site set up. I recognize that I'm still a new guy on the block, and I'm trying to keep humble and not overstep my bounds.
In a brief aside, I'm proposing the name "Task Force Alpha-440" (aka "What the hell was that sound?") for the page / collaborative operation, after the pitch standard A 440Hz.
Opinions, folks? (Especially admins?)
