Hello everyone; I go by Mr. Aesthetics. I shall introduce myself.
I've been a long time fan of SCP-173 before I knew what it was. The concept interested me; a simple, unexplained monster. Horrifying, mysterious, and all those other keywords.
After a series of wacky trip-ups I've joined the website. I've already read several scps, guides, and have learned what it is that's been overdone so that I can avoid that. Rest assured I have no intention of reality-bending humans who kill people that look at them, work for the scp and have six packs. I've never written anything for a wiki before, so I am not entirely sure about the proper syntax and format, but I noticed there are several guides on the topic so I have no worries.
I primarily write fantasy and science fiction, but I also compose music, program, draw and manipulate photos. Most, if not all of this skills I hope to make use of here.
I have a few questions which I couldn't find answers to:
If an article references another article, do you need the writer's permission? Does this also apply to indirect, vague hints towards another article?
And, how do you determine who originally posted an article?
Thank you for having me, and once again, hello.
