I don't know much m'self, but it seems to me the discussion you put in the containment procedures would better fit after the description. And I took the liberty of fixing two or three grammar issues.

by any chance, have you read any Xanth novels?
I downvoted this the instant I saw an O5 saying "Don't worry about it."
I think that part needs to be changed, yes. Exactly what to, I'm not sure offhand…there isn't much of a backup plan you can have in the sort of situation that would occur if things went downhill, except make sure you stay on good terms with 1073-2.
Judging by the third test, I'd say that if it goes rogue, you introduce it to distilled water and lots of it. Really, there is absolutely no SCP that shouldn't have reasonable contingency plans, just in case, and it's certainly not the case than an O5 shouldn't be worried about it. I bet that, even though it's not mentioned in the article, they worry about the Fountain of Youth and what might happen if it goes wrong, and have half a dozen plans for how to deal with things if the O5s are corrupted, along with at least three lines of succession planned out to get the best possible replacements for them. And the Fountain of Youth is honestly less dangerous than this one is.
Even if the author disagrees with my water plan, it would be simple enough to have the O5s claim that there are back-up plans and leave it at that. But the idea that this guy is just so friendly that of course even the O5s trust him is ludicrous. I mean, imagine if this were a humanoid SCP. We'd be hearing shouts of "Mary Sue!!!" and no doubt "The Abel line!!!!!" until the page died horribly in a sea of downvotes.
How the hell is it communicating with us? Especially in english? Sorry, but there's nothing in the description that allows me to suspend my disbelief over this bit.

What Bright said. At least the Communist spiders had a proposed means to do that.
Also, I can hardly express the disservice the note does to it. I mean
Almost 8█% of the world's computer systems are based off information this thing gave us
Why the hell would you censor the second digit? Besides, why censor the number at all? To anyone who has any idea about how computers work, it's friggin' obvious over a half uses silicon -based transistors, and the exact percentage is a ) hard to obtain , b) doesn't bring in anything useful at all.
Besides, an O5 being complacent is very, very OOC.
Also ,very wrong history - IIRC transistor was invented in Bell Labs lots of time before Intel ever existed. Alternate historical interpretations have to seamlessly match with the real thing to be intriguing.
This is a pity because I almost upvoted while reading the description.
The O5-6 notes were a reference to tale about killing all the O5's (if I'm remembering correctly) O5-6 was the original tech support guy for the Foundation.
If you're referencing Ecce Perag and An Non, neither of the Sixes in those stories are a tech guy. You might want to read them again.

The notes kinda killed it for me.
