I had an idea for an SCP and was hoping to get some feedback. Basically, the SCP would be a surrealist film that when watched in its entirety would replace the viewer's personality and memories (it's a little bit like SCP 782 in that regard, but I think/hope it's distinct enough to stand on its own). The personality and memory would always be the same, so everyone who has ever watched the movie has become Bob Smith, a gregarious marketing consultant from Buffalo with a tendency towards transvestism (or whatever; this is just an example). I haven't decided on a few things, namely
- Should the mind-wiping properties be a part of the film itself or the movie (i.e. if I watched a taping of the movie, would I still become Bob Smith etc. etc.)?
- Should the memetic effects only work for English-speakers, or should others who don't necessarily understand the dialogue be affected as well?
