As you may know, SCP-091 has been recently ARC'd and I was given permission to try a rewrite.
I'll leave my sandbox page address here so you can see how this is evolving and possibly give me feedback.
I've already made a few changes to the original article; my idea is to expand the concept of this SCP to the level that it's more than just a strange tree, but a sentient being with purposes of its own.
You can notice that interviews with the nymph and incident reports are intended in this article, what I want to is give a hint that SCP-091 would like a human male for procreation purposes (objective and implications to this are unknown) in the interviews.
The incident logs will depict the death of a female personnel during an interview (the Nymph shows extreme possessive behavior around males) and a containment breach where the male personnel from the interviews, affected by airborne spores (the truth is, there won't be anything really supporting that the spores contributed in any way), tries to break into the arboretum to fulfill the Nymph's plans.
In the next couple of days I’ll be editing my sandbox page a lot, just keep in mind that now I’m mostly brainstorming and writing a draft, when I’m finished with this I’ll be worrying about giving it a really good execution, so please pay more attention to the concept and not to the writing, at least for now.
