Hey what's up guys? Me again. I got a new SCP I'm working on and I'd really appreciate some feedback. Draft here, under "Mother of Poetry":
Basic gist is that in the distant past when our ancestors were hunted by creatures and "demons" and other terrors of the night, there were beautiful things in the light too. Vistas to take your breath away, landscapes so achingly sublime they made you speak in the subconscious language of the cosmos to call them by their true names. But as the evil things were destroyed or ahem, contained, the good things have gone away too. Preserving normalcy might be necessary to protect us, but is it worth it?
This started as a whole other idea, but I took it a completely different direction halfway through so I hope it's not too jarring. Anyways, I hope you can get all that from the article, but I'm sure that's not the only problem. Be honest and I hope you enjoy.
edit: whoops forgot containment procedures. I just want to make sure the premise is sound before I do any of that.
