I could use some general feedback on the three ideas that I have. I am asking for everyone's opinion on the subjects before I make a draft.
1. Elemental Violin Safe/Euclid
This one is rather practical. It's an oak violin with a similar nylon bow. No manufacturer markings, numbers, or general information is located on the object. The standard stuff. By itself, it can do nothing, so it can be stored away like any Safe object. The strings are unbreakable, as well as the entire object. It can be tuned and tested without incident. The anomalous properties surface only when played. During testing, it should be considered Euclid, as the results are unpredictable.
The environment around the subject changes according to the theme and general feel of the song. For example, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. First, think about how this would be felt, not heard. Have a feeling? Good. The effect on the environment would be diminished light, a drop in temperature and humidity, and a faint glow emanating from the player. That is what I though of anyway. You will most likely have something completely different. Now, think of an intense song with a strong and prominent violin base. As I don't listen to a lot of classical/baroque music, I chose Crisis City (the Generations Modern version. Look it up on YouTube.) as my example. How would that alter the testing area? Have an idea? Good. What I thought of was an explosion of flame erupting from the instrument, incinerating the player and anything in the area. This is why it's Euclid.
I can't think of anything else to put into this, so on to the next SCP.
2. Living Fire Euclid/Keter (Maybe just Keter)
This one consists of two objects. The glass case, shaped like two tear drops colliding in opposite directions, and the fire, which levitates in the center of the case. Its source of energy is unknown. The flame is an orange/white color. Under no circumstances is the fragile shell to be broken, but the Foundation being the Foundation, they broke it open anyway. This is where the Keter aspect really shines.
All organic substances are consumed by the flame, adding to its overall strength, size, and speed as it spreads. They are not burned, but broken down chemically into raw energy through an unknown process. The inferno will continue to spread until all organic molecules in the area have been consumed, or are unreachable. At this point, the fire shrinks back into its original source with the glass case reforming. The fire itself emits about an eighth of the heat compared to a regular flame.
This one has a recovery log, and it goes something like this. A ruin of unknown origin is discovered in the Sahara desert in Africa. Nothing inside matches anything else in the world. Fearing that an SCP is involved, the Foundation steps in. A team is dispatched to explore the excavation site, mapping out every room and taking notes on the architecture. Nothing anomalous occurs inside the ruin. While mapping out the last corridor, the team discovers a very large cavern, with an unknown language scrawled onto every square inch of the room. At the very center, on an ornate stone table, is the glass case containing the Living Fire. The shell is cracked and weathered, but intact. The object is cautiously transported out of the ruin and taken to the Foundation.
That's it on this one, now to the last SCP
3. "The Sushi" Safe Keter Safe Euclid Keter Euclid Safe Undetermined
I know what you're thinking, but don't let him know. Making a joke of his name will eradicate you from the timeline of the entire Universe, so he has threatened.
The subject is a human male of an unknown descent. He has the appearance of a teenager roughly sixteen years old. Other than his unknown ancestry, he appears normal. However, a pair of horns rests on top of the head. With the color of light brick, they protrude from the skull at an 86 degree arc originating from the side of the head 3 inches above the ears. His attire consists of a plain light gray T-shirt and blue pants of an unknown material. The shoes are light gray and of an unknown manufacturer, if they were manufactured.
The subject arrived at the foundation himself, specifically at the O5 headquarters, requesting entry into the building. After 5 minutes of debating, the door opens. After a brief discussion about current events, he requests to be classified, then requests an interview with one of the staff. After being granted permission, he requests a specific SCP number, as well as providing a detailed description about himself.
When the interview ends, the subject produces a small, pure white flame in his open palm. He states, quoted "I will come back to this universe, but not in this form." The subject then leaves the room. The interviewer, suddenly realizing the significance of what he just interviewed, chases after him. He has vanished. A security breach alarm is raised, then lowered within five minutes. "The Sushi" is nowhere to be found.
The multiple reclassifications is Command having an argument on what he should be classified as. Some say he's Safe. He was friendly coming to the Foundation and being interviewed. Some say Euclid. The white flame he created is a sign of the power it wields. Others say Keter. If he can travel between whole universes, can he just as easily destroy them?
Whew. That was a lot of writing. Sorry if it got stale near the end. It gets a bit challenging to think and write clearly after an hour of work.
Hopefully this turns out to be something.
