It has come to my attention that SCP-789-j does not meet foundation protocols or even good writing abilities at all. I would suggest that It should be deleted immediately.
Now, while I dislike it, and would be happy if it got downvoted to hell like on the Russian wiki, this isn't going to happen any time soon.
Think of it as a reverse Able line - anything stupider than that is too idiotic to be a -J.
It has come to my attention that posts from newbies requesting deletion of positively-rated articles do not meet Foundation protocols or even good forum etiquette at all. I would suggest that it should be punched in the nads stop that immediately.
I will agree with you that SCP-789-J is one of the stupidest things I have ever seen here. I am vaguely appalled that people like it.
I advise not reading it because looking at it might make you a little bit dumber.
If I could downvote it 66 times and get rid of it, I would, but I can't.
The staff could take it down, but they won't.
That's just as well.
We have a system here, and it works pretty well to keep the articles in tune with the collective will of the members. If we start arbitrarily screwing around with it, and taking down positively rated stuff, sooner or later something you like will be pulled. Or something you wrote. Then you'll be complaining the system isn't fair, and why do we have ratings if we overrule them…
Let the system work, and accept that a few articles you really hate may stay around, and some that you like will get deleted.
SCP Wiki Senior Citizen Staff | Thank you for testing my new memetic Forum sig
It has come to my attention that the whole deletion thing doesn't work that way. Thanks for playing though.
but the butt ghost is the best scp ever. i like how it says butt because thats funny.
*kicks Researcher James off the computer*
Yeah, first off, the little -j at the end gives it the right to have a sense of humor and maybe not follow foundation protocol. Second, if you were to read the "Deletion and You" article when you first signed up, you'd know that a positively-rated SCP cannot be deleted. Finally, when a newbie comes in and starts suggesting that a positively-rated article written by a member who is (probably) on Senior Staff and is older than dirt has been around for a while should be deleted, it makes you look like a total jerk.
omg i totally support this! delete butt ghost plzthx
EDIT: the author said hes not gonna delete it! wat a fag!
B-but… you're the author… sh-should we burn you as an angry mob?
No, don't worry. I'm lynching myself as we speak.
Oh good, what a relief, I thought I was going to have to burn another person to death.
