Ive been wondering,as the title says, what Technology the Foundation keeps to itself away from the rest of humanity? Im not talking about SCP related stuff, but simple, nonsupernatural technology.
Amnesiacs capable of obliterating a specific memory or time frame that is a standardized dosage (ie they mass produce these things and they're guaranteed to remove that pesky memory/event.)
I've always felt that the pharmaceutical aspect of the amnesiacs is accompanied by some sort of electroencephalography and possiblly neurolinguistic programming, which brings it a bit more in line with what could feasibly be done with real-life technology. The drugs would be something like ketamine to just make the person spaced out enough to not fight and to be suggestible.
Why would the Foundation do such a thing? If technology they have access to is completely unrelated to SCP objects, then they have absolutely no reason not to release it in some fashion. That aside, I don't even know how they'd get their hands on such technology. It's not as if engineering and the like is the focus of their work.
Now if you mean technology that is, in fact, derived from the things they have access to, I'd refer you to SCP-4023-EX, SCP-1073 and various articles around the site. If it an be passed as normal, the Foundation can and generally does ditribution it, although that varies with the given writer's preferences.
I think it would be a good idea for there to be a list of tools the Foundation uses to handle witnesses and special SCPs. A technological department sounds nice.
