This is pretty fun. I like the more "slice of life" type tales from a non-personnel perspective.
These cops are horrible at their job. You'd think they'd send SOMEONE over, even if it turns out the guy's just crazy. I'm pretty sure that it's illegal for them not to send someone over if you call 911.
Depends on jurisdiction.
If they have you on the phone and it's not an emergency, I'm pretty sure most places they aren't required to send someone.
In the last call though where the old man is obviously losing it, they should've sent an officer or an ambulance to check on him having a psychotic break or something.
See, I thought the cops' interaction at the last was the response to that last call from the old man. He just got the "you die now" call right after he dialed for help, before the cops could show up.
