I've been working on my first SCP and I'd like some input.
I'd also like input specifically on the interview as I suspect it may be a bit too cheesy.
Here's the sandbox article
If you ask me the effects seem kind of random and I don't really find it particularly interesting, sorry. If you're trying to get across the idea that the memetic effect makes people want to set this thing free, perhaps a better idea would be to make it so the substance it produces is incredibly useful/valuable, however they have to harm it somehow to extract it, and it keeps trying to telepathically convince people to let it escape, by making them feel its pain? Just an idea.
Yeah, you're right.
The fluid was kind of a device to add to containment protocol.
The primary idea was supposed to be more along the lines of a drone of some sort sent to request help from some kind of alien life using its own memories to implant the desire to help their cause. The people affected by it need to free it to stay in contact with it and it becomes a kind of addiction.
Though that is an interesting suggestion, I'll keep that in mind for revisions.
Can you be more specific in terms of what was hard to get behind?
I really appreciate the comments, thanks!
Was this inspired by the angels from Neon Genesis Evangelion?
