I need help getting a good "hook" for this (http://sandbox.scp-wiki.net/jekeled-s-sandbox) draft (it's the first entry in the tab).
This isn't a specific hook, but I think you need to explore why they commit suicide. Some well placed details on what drives them to suicide might be just the hook you need.
Allright, I'll work on ways to put that in.
Hmm…I'm not sure if I should go for an interview log, or something else…
Yeah. I'm not sure myself. There are several ways you could do this.
an interview with a dying victim or survivor, couple of hints in the description, even a few choice experiments in a log. I don't know which way would be best but I would lean towards a note in an experiment or a couple of hints in the description. An Interview seems a bit too obvious, and I think the power of this SCP is going to come in the realizationby the reader of why these animals and people would commit suicide. If its too clear it will lose its effectiveness.
Just thoughts though.
It's a bridge that kills dogs and makes people near it sad.
Not too bad. The "why they jump" bit was good. But I still don't know it'll stand with that. But I can't think of anything better, so I'd start with that.
Ok, how about just straight up adding hooks? Once something dies from jumping off the bridge, long chains with hooks on the end get dropped out a small window, and haul up the body (might take a few tries). Nobody can find a room that goes with the window, or it's otherwise inaccessible.
