Good show. I'm curios to see where this goes. If this is indeed a much smaller Foundation, how would they be able to deal with a few of the more daunting SCPs (Keter levels)?. It will be interesting to see, no doubt.
The main thing to keep in mind is that there are far, far fewer Keter items around in this canon: I'm only using pre-Mass Edit articles (that would be mid 2009 and earlier / stuff in the .pdf project / shit I read before joining), though I'm tweaking them all a bit.
I've always thought that the Foundation could be a lot more efficient and effective if they used more of the items.
A handful of people is all you need when you have force-multipliers like some of the things on the main list.
You see more of this in the old stuff, like Kondraki's butterflys, but things that are "too useful" get bashed by the current standards.
I'm not saying that this is where Djoric is going, or even that he should, just that it is one possibility for dealing with the dilema. Looking forward to seeing more of this reboot.
This suffers from that classic adaptation/prequel foible: shoehorning in where established terminology comes from. Heck, I'm watching some old Transformers show right now, and it does the same thing. I can't really fault you for that, though it does go a ways toward making this less enjoyable than the first tale. It's enjoyable nevertheless, and I look forward to the next.
I know this is like a year old… But…. Where's the money gonna come from for this? I mean, none of them are millionai- wait. Reality bender. Right.
Adam's got a load of money stashed away.
And then you have the ponzi schemes, and the botnets, and stock market shenanigans.
Yeah. Pretty much all of that cash was completely and totally illicit.
But then again, they don't have to pay for the property or utilities.
