Have been working for a little while on what was supposed to be my first SCP (1552 somehow ended up on the site despite my being convinced it was ill-conceived). This is the second major draft and is actually longer than the first one, after all that cutting down :(
The gibbet is now integrated into the SCP concept rather than being an afterthought (I may well end up calling it 'A Highwayman's Corpse' rather than 'The Moving Accident Black Spot'). I also tried working in another idea I had - that there were now TWO 1251s as a result of it consuming one of the containment personnel and turning him into another identical phenomena. I didn't want to actually implement that idea, though, as it would make 1251 an uncontained, self-replicating Keter-class SCP. Hopefully the solution I've found is fairly elegant. As far as I'm concerned, Sector-25's interpretation of the situation is the correct one; the team manager went insane after being put in an impossible situation (whether he had something to do with the disappearance of the guy who supposedly went to get help is more ambiguous).
