I first came across SCP in 2009 and devoured everything on the site. Then promptly lost the link until early June when I rediscovered it and set about reading through it all again.
There's a lot more to read this time around.
I'm hoping this reading binge turns into a more active participation on the site; The Foundation community has supplied so much inspiration and imagination-sparking to me over the years, it's only fair I try to give something back after all this time.
But first, I need to finish reading through all 1,500 or so SCPs (to make sure none of my ideas are repeated anywhere too closely), spend some time on the forums (to get a feel for the actual community and de-newb myself), and spend time making sure what I write is good enough to only be torn to moderate shreds upon submission.
You guys are intense about critique. It is a refreshing change of pace from most creative sites.
