A Tale about how two people can become table salt, or they can mix together to make poison; literally.
It's an interesting exercise in personification. I'm not sure how it relates to your overall story with kit, but as an outsider it reads as fairly abrupt. I don't dislike it, and I like the idea here - the whole thing about relationships, and how the different chemical reactions mirror those. I think it's just more of a personal thing that's leading me to novote.
Understandable, I get that. Thank you for the feedback!
I really enjoyed this, brevity is the soul of wit and this doesn't feel any longer than it needed to be. +1
Whether you like it or not, history is on our side. We will bury you!
I feel stupid for asking this, but is this Dawn or is this Gabriel? I feel like it's Dawn.
So, I particularly like that I was able to enjoy this with 0 previous knowledge of Kit tales. Like, I didn't even know this was a Kit tale until the name was mentioned part way through, and even so I felt like I understood the point of the piece without any of the background reading. It's nice to see a piece that ties into a larger narrative, but is still enjoyable on its own.
Also note to self… start reading full Kit series sometime…
I'm glad it can work as a standalone Tale too! Thank you :3
