Those of you who watch the front page will have noticed this, but for everyone else, we have a new member of the SCP family at SCP Korea. Please join me in welcoming them to the fold, and wishing them a long and productive enterprise.
Congrats friends :) I look forward to seeing your community grow, and also hope to see some original ones from you guys as well!
Are there any plans to link the French and Chinese sites as well?
We as staff determined that a group translating articles is not sufficient. Our primary requirement is that they need to be a community of writers, a creative writing website writing their own SCP articles as well. Otherwise you might as well just use google translate on this site and live with the inaccurate translations. The Korean and Russian sites do make their own, thus they are worth listing.
Note: this is the PRIMARY requirement, but not the ONLY requirement. We also expect a certain level of quality and for it to be more than just an individual or a small group of people doing it for kicks, along with other considerations.
If you have evidence that the French and/or Chinese sites are making new SCP articles, then let us know. But the last time I checked, this was not the case.
As a random piece of information, the Chinese site attach little anime illustrations of scips to their translated articles.
That's probably not the same, though.
Link? This I gotta see.
Well, unless there's another Chinese SCP Foundation that I'm not aware of, here is what he's talking about. I'm not seeing any anime illustrations of the SCPs themselves, though. The only annie mays I see are signatures of the forum users.
This is fantastic! Already sending links via facebook to all my Korean speaking and reading friends. Look forward to seeing more original stories in another language.
Thanks! But we are still on developing the site. :D
….and we're also on translating Wikidot. So now the site is getting more and more mature. I hope we can post some good articles in future.
