SCP Foundation

So i thought it would be a cool idea to create a pen that when it is used to edit a document, for example SCP 3000, it could change its size from 600 - 900 Km down to 600 - 900 cm and would change SCP 3000 in real life. Just wondering if there was any other SCPs like it, or if its a good and original idea.

Right now this is an anomalous item. There's not enough content here for a full, developed article.

To make something like this work there needs to be context and a strong story tying it to the Foundation Universe. Who created it? Why? How did the Foundation find out about it/recover it? Are there limits to it's power/use? (I think the answer to this should be "yes, it's severely limited" because otherwise you run the risk of a boring defeats-everything item)

There needs to be context here that makes the reader genuinely care/feel some kind of emotion or it'll just be a boring old magic item. I suggest reading the "magic item" section of the list of common pitfalls before revising this concept a little.
