Only about four-five months behind schedule. Whether you love or hate the story, whether you love or hate Alexylva period, I'm getting this out of my system either way. Hope to have the series finished within the week or so.

I love this story. I have no idea what's going on with the minotaur but it's a lot of fun to read.
Couple of things:
David felt nothing but bemusement, knowing what happened next.
If he knows what's gonna happen, why is he bemused (confused)?
And whenever he stutters an 's' it kinda reads as hissing to me. Maybe I'm just to used to the s-s-s-standard stuttering shorthand.
Anyway, looking forward to the rest of the story! Can't wait to see you die!
1. Unless I've been using the word incorrectly for, um, forever, "bemused" is more like "amused". He's watching the scene unfold, knowing how it ends before it starts.
2. I know that's the usual stuttering convention, but after working at it for a while, I came to the conclusion that that way felt a little more like what actual stuttering sounded like. But good catch!
Yeah, I spent a good thirty seconds stuttering to myself like an idiot before I decided to raise that second point. I'd agree that it works better for every letter except 's', so, uh, maybe I shouldn't have included it after all. Sorry about bemused, but ...
I feel like a butthole scumming up the discussion page with nitpicks, so I'd just like to say how impressed I am with the Alexylva universe. Reading through the other Tales about it, I honestly feel you could strip out all references to the SCP Foundation, write a book, and get it published as straight sci-fi. It just feels so … complete, I guess. Anyway, thanks for writing this stuff, I love it.
Reading this story kept me up longer than I intended, and now I realize it's not finished!
Hope you haven't given up on this, and that the next chapter comes soon.
