A sort of bleak counterpart to Quite Days. This time, it ends with a bang.

Far from streaks of scattered lights
the end to all of mankind's plights
few would share these desolate sights
for naught was left but empty nights.
Hauntingly beautiful. The dialogue is my favorite part, and I have always been fond of 1440. It was interesting to see the Third Brother being portrayed as he was, and the ending was very well done.
Glorious. Happened to be listening to this as I read it, and the tone felt appropriate.
I get the 1440 reference, but what is the probe at the end?
