This was an idea inspired by the SCP fuel picture of the giant doll chasing a woman in a house. It would be a dvd consisting of a 32 minute silent surreal video. The video would have different seemingly unrelated and disturbing clips, many of which feature actions or objects that are clearly abnormal (such as the giant doll chasing the woman or a laughing man hammering nails into his head long past the point when he should be dead). Copies of this DVD would be being sent to individuals apparently at random from an unknown source.
Watching the video wouldn't produce any abnormal effects in the viewer as far as the SCP Foundation was aware. However, the weird part would be that the SCP Foundation analyzes the footage and concludes that all of the weird clips in the video were done without any special effects (i.e. someone was actually just filming a giant doll chasing a woman around a house). Some of the people killed in the video would be identifiable as people who were considered missing from different geographic locations.
I'm also considering including a section where the SCP uncovers a version of the video online with an additional clip or two added to the end.
Does this work or is it still too cliché?
