Hey skara: Do you have any plans for the bear king? Cause, I love the imagery, and might wanna do an SCP about it.

No plans for an SCP, at any rate— though it'd be cool to see. The bear king belongs to a mythos that, if anything, I'd write for Wanderer's Library.
OH YEAH! Let's go Wanderer's Library!
(I would also love to see that) I am totally not a shameless pimp for the Library
Oh, and in case anyone hadn't heard about it, the python hunt was a thing. Possibly the highlight of the coverage was seeing PETA urging the “immediate destruction of the brain by gunshot.” Inspiring material.
It was mentioned on the weird things podcast as "unlimited snake murder"
This is wonderful, I love the scale of these.
I enjoyed the sudden divergence from the seemingly small scale of the hunter, to Apocolyptic level awakenings. Also great use of 1108 in my opinion.
I was kind of hoping for a tie-in with the "Duck God" from moose's "Awakenings" +1 nonetheless.
This is really, really great. Like, "one of my favorite contest entries" kind of great. The imagery was superb, and the notion of these kinds of huge quasi-godlike animals fits very well in this canon.
Just a note to the other Eschatology authors that this is overdue for a substantial re-write and will be updated this week.
Loved it, there was such an epic feel to all these creatures rising from the Earth, and the writing was especially good; the character of Freddie, and the way you showed what was happening simultaneously in different places, were really neat touches.
+1
