Alright, I'm back from another writing hiatus to attempt to put another SCP up. I've had an idea running through my head through a while and I thought I'd pitch it now.

Anyway, the idea is a large humanoid entity that rests at the bottom of the sea. Stands about 50 meters tall when fully erect, and usually surfaces near shorelines.
It has the ability to convert solid matter that it touches into Japanese cedar wood, and can slowly convert an entire object into wood like an infection. When converting a large object, cylindrical pustules of hollow wood often appear.
The pustules usually envelop anything living that is caught up in the transmutation process, forming a sort of cage. The victims usually asphyxiate.
