Written for Soulless' challenge for SCPs. I rolled up "healing" and "sadistic" and decided to do the former for the effect, the latter for the object.
There's an implication about Mr. Woodham's past that I wonder if anyone will get.

Um…oops. I didn't realize you didn't want it stated if someone got it
Well, it's not much of implication if you outright state it and spoil it for everyone! D:<
But yes, that is the >implication.
e: For the record, ain't no thang. I was just messing with you.
What a dick.
Great. Reminds me of Jesus he knows me by Genesis.
Also . .interesting thing. He should have lost the power long ago … does it mean he recharges when he lets someone die like that?
Ayep. That's part of the reason why he allows the children to die and then tells the parents that it's their failings that caused their child to die (the other being, as Rumetzen pointed out, that he's a sadistic asshole who just likes doing it).
I love you. And this SCP. One of my favorites.
Living the dream, or dreaming the life?
Doesn't really read like an SCP to me, reads more like a tale implanted into an SCP because the whole thing is basically just the two logs.
Yeh I kinda question that, because 093 is all narrative and it's pretty high. 835, too. A bunch of 'em, really…
Living the dream, or dreaming the life?
Sigh. Another healer? I suppose this one does have a sufficiently interesting back story, and the tone is kinda nice. Beyond that I agree with Reject.
I'm not sure I entirely understand distilling things down to this level.
One might as well go "Oh, ANOTHER object that acts in an anomolous manner and fucks with reality?"
This is really, really good. And mortifying.
h
I honestly think this would work better as a tale than as a skip. Looking just at the object, he's not all that interesting, really. It's all about his personality and how he uses his power; the backstory is more interesting overall than the substance of the article.
I feel this is not a good way to judge articles, however.
