Third one down, Property Markers.
I love this idea, I'm definitely sticking with this one.

First Reaction: This is awfully short.
Predators that resemble cloth tags. Amusing, but it needs to be fleshed out a lot more and what's there needs to be cleaned up for tone.
Okay I started this by reading what Aelanna posted, and that was kind of frightening. Although your edit of your work seems to have really paid close attention to her advice, the report is pretty good, but I can't say what it looked like before. Keep it up.
I enjoyed reading about it, and it's interesting.
My only question is - why is the foundation interested? It's feeding habits and appearance is strange, yes, but how is it actually anomalous?
Maybe something about its internal biology or genetics?
I agree with the consensus: entertaining idea, needs fleshing out. A few suggestions:
SCP-xxxx has multiple very small teeth covering the bottom of its body.
The technical term for this would be "ventral side of its body." (Ventral = stomach, doral = back, anterior = towards the head, posterior = towards the butt.) I'd also specify a measurement rather than saying "very small" - 1 to 2 mm, probably?
Some suggestions to flesh out the creature descriptions: do they have observable sensory organs? What about digestive systems? Any evidence of mating, laying eggs, asexual reproduction, etc? Since there seems to be a fairly large number of the critters, maybe the foundation could dissect one. Their feeding strategy strikes me as leech-like, so that could be a good jumping off point to flesh out the anatomy. (Actually, I kind of like the idea of leeches that adapted "property markers" as camouflage when so many rural wetlands got drained. Maybe there's another species that imitates barbed wire.)
I'm just kind of spitballing ideas…I hope that'll be helpful.
Many thanks, I will definitely use this information to improve the SCP.
Glad it was helpful ^.^ I'm a zoologist IRL, so if you want help with technical terminology feel free to PM me.
I've updated the article once more. Please take a look at it. I would appreciate heavy critique.
EDIT: Bumping this, been more than 10 hours.
I'll go with what Myriad said some days ago. I can't find anything truly anomalous about them.
Why did they got reclassified to Euclid?
Read the addendum.
Yeah they killed somebody, but that's not a good reason to classify them Euclid. That's not how it works.
Not 'somebody'. They killed multiple people on a single occasionmultiple occasions. Please read.
Rather than "reclassifying to Euclid", I rather think that it would have never been downgraded to Safe in the first place. In either case, the addendum is a bit too cheesy for me, and as always, death is a cheap thrill.
