Working on a previous idea, I wanted to create an SCP where a stack of repositionable notes are found neatly put together again, wiping out their previous contents from beforehand. Users of these artifacts are oblivious to it's memetic effects as they gradually increase in desire to both write everyday occurrences, eventually leading into words or sentences reflecting deeper portions of their minds similar to how an MRI can pick up brain activity to create virtual hands or images from direct access to our minds (idea taken from here ), and will progressively employ their improved intelligence to seek out more information on topics they wish to study.
The user can then use the repositionable notes by inherently understanding which repositionable note represents which memory, event, idea, etc. to retrieve individualized and extremely concise data from one note. Only the original user may understand the exact positioning to the memories acquired from their own patches of repositionable notes on the walls. Where the environment of the mind is expanded upon and efficiency in each user increases enormously regarding intelligence.
On the 30th day however, all cases of this phenomenon onclude with precisely the same event. The notes become hideously deformed while a blackened center perpetuates itself from the interior of the patch of artifacts, thumping along like heart beats as the sound seems to invade the user's mind, compelling them inward. Before this event, victims will experience increasing nightmares of an entity described as having a heart in the center of thick black branches as a bleak, unnatural darkness. The repositionable notes located in the exterior of the gateway to the trans-dimensional mouth of the entity become an indecipherable syntax. All attempts to replicate said syntax are met with massive headaches obfuscating the very image of the symbols from the minds of researchers until researchers either give up or pass out from the sounds of heart beats.
On day 31, all artifacts are reassembled neatly on their own, in the original order and number they were found with as artifacts develop more instances of themselves during the 30 days. However, when a D-class test subject was repelled from entering the vortex, visions of the entity begin to induce themselves in all related personnel preventing the subject from entering. The camera footage of explorations made into the hole reveal enormous amounts of paper resembling repositionable notes, letters, scrolls, papers, pieces of books, "Hell money" a form of currency for the dead for the Chinese, and various other forms of paper. Further along, the papers begin to twist and turn together into the shape of branches as the heart beats increase in sound. It is only when the image of a small, distanced anomalous object appears on camera that the live feed dies and the subject cannot be retrieved as the vortex closes.
