I feel like this piece could use with a bit more tightening; sentences like 'Indeed, the whimsical designs…' feel off to me, tonally. In addition, this article relies heavily on Three Moon lore — a lot of its components don't work unless you're familiar with its context. A little less of that could have made this more accessible.
All that being said, the fundamental premise (weaponized Jim Henson puppets) is a great one. What makes this especially fun is that you dodged the easy Five Nights at Freddy's parallel and instead went with a much better Sesame Street meets the A-Team/Platoon premise.
I was on the edge of no-vote until that final bit in the interview. There's a certain elegant hilarity to subverting the finality of death like that.
