The sharing economy is weird. I had this idea and really wanted to hammer it out.
I was really into it at first, but right when it starts to get good it ends. If you add more then I’ll upvote, but for now it’s a no vote from me
Agreed with this, but moving for a downvote. It's got a nice twist there but doesn't really build on it.
Whether you like it or not, history is on our side. We will bury you!
I don't really have much else to say about this - the aim here was to let the idea speak for itself as ~biting social commentary~
If it doesn't work for you, fair enough.
It's a pretty odd mishmash of ideas, but it works together decently at best. I'll give it a +1 for the excellent writing and cool idea.
This is just so fucking weird. Took a minute to click what was going on at the end there, but I love it. +1 from me. My only issue is that the second half of the description gets a little medical-jargony for my tastes, which kind of slowed things down a bit. Otherwise, I'm a sucker for the "internet reviews of weird bullshit" genre. Good stuff.
Not quite sure what's going on here. And isn't "Übermensch" German for "Superman"? Novote, although the reviews made me laugh.
It's uber for organs and the title is just a bad pun.
Novote from me as well. Unless I'm missing something, the addendum, while amusing, seemed to exist purely to shoehorn a gimmick into an otherwise mundane skip. I can't draw any connection between the original effects of the disease and a WiFi signal, and so to me, that could have been added to just about any file on the site to similar effect.
(That being said, I've done very poorly so far with understanding SCPs that hide their explanations within subtle clues and hints, so if there is something to miss, I'm probably missing it.)
I think you're missing it. While I admit to also griping about unrelated things shoehorned into the end of SCPs, I would argue that the presence of user reviews and online connectivity is absolutely consistent with the 'disease', at least conceptually.
The end is the best part of the this skip to be honest. If you were to extend just by a little it could answer some of my questions and hopefully raise a thousand more.
Kudos to you. I applaud you for having such great execution on a rather…Interesting idea. Execution was great. Writing was wonderful.
I especially loved how the 'disease' sorta progressed through the time, and went from making generate in people, to having them emit a WiFi signal. +1.

It seems like the currency generation and the user reviews are two completely separate anomalies that you have tried to force into the same SCP. They might each be good on their own, but I don't think they work together. -1
