Instead of trying to come up with an idea from scratch, I went to the Unidentified Subjects category on Wikimedia (the one pinned here) to look for an image that might make it easier to find ideas. I found this image which looks like a machine of sorts, and I thought it could maybe function by pouring a small amount of any liquid on the top, and then doing something to that liquid in a big area around, perhaps depending on something you put on the bottom.
The thing is, I could come up with something more specific but I feel like the concept might be a bit bland, so I need an experienced opinion about it.
Also, another idea I had (although without a picture): an anomalous computer program that, when presented with a clear image of a person, will let you alter one random decision that said person has made in their life (up until now). Again, seems somewhat boring to be so I need an opinion about it.
