In my last post, I got shot down immediately by someone who wasn't very helpful in the slightest.
Thank's Zyn.
So, here I'm going to try and explain some concepts that I slept on last night:
The core idea of Biofluency gel is that it's a substance that, when applied to any material surface, said surface becomes immaterial, though still visually present.
I've laid out some basic concepts and rules about the stuff.
• 3 minutes must pass for the gel to completely soak through the material it is applied to.
• The gelatin dries out after roughly twenty-five minutes, returning anything it is applied to back to a normal physical state though variants in the length of time are common. The longest the gel can be in effect for is thirty-seven minutes and three seconds. (Story concept)
• The gel’s chemical structure varies, but a certain chemical (a nonlethal radioactive substance) has always been present in the formula no matter what.
• When applied to living creatures, the gel has shown to separate the flesh from the organs, muscles, and otherwise vital systems of the body. The skin immediately falling through the floor. So, it's Safe under CERTAIN circumstances. This ain't no 999.
• Finally, the gel does not work on everything it is applied to. Common resistances include: Teflon, Lead, and itself.
Story line wise, I was thinking after a basic explanation of the article that peeks interest about the SCP, later on there will be experiment logs that give the readers the details on WHY the article is worded the way it is. It's exposition, basically.
Also, an idea I had was that a D-Class managed to get their hands on a jar of it and used to to try and escape, only resulting in their death and the release of a few Euclid from III and IV.
A mini Containment breach? Is that too cliche? Whelp. That's why I'm here for help and ideas, right?
