Item #: SCP-X
Object Class: Safe.
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-X must be contained in a dry and cool room. No personell can enter SCP-X's room without prior authorization of Dr. █████████.
Description: SCP-X was first found in a science laboratory of the university of █████████, in the city of D█████ and was brought to The Foundation by [REDACTED].
SCP-X appears to be a metallic cylinder made of a grey, unknown, and indestructible metal. It has an height of 30cm and a radius of about 7cm. The top part of SCP-X, can be removed in order to introduce small objects into it.
SCP-X presents a small, circular, red button on its top part; and a small rectangular slot near the bottom.
Whenever a small object is introduced in SCP-X, the top part it's closed, and the red button it's pressed, then a small piece of paper is thrown out from the rectangular opening. Numbers are written on the small piece of paper in a black ink.
If a non-living object was introduced in SCP-X, the number of the output sheet will tell how many minutes are left for the factory which produced that object to close its activity.
If a negative number is shown, it means that that factory has already closed since those many minutes.
In case of minerals or dirt, SCP-X will show a number that corresponds about to the currently estimated age of the earth.
If any kind of money is inserted in SCP-X in any amount, it will tell how many minutes will it take for that specific amount of money, to change owner completly.
Living objects, or small parts of living objects, may be introcuced in SCP-X. In this case SCP-X will show how many minutes will that life form live. Again, following the same logic as non-living objects, if a dead living form is inserted into SCP-X, it will tell of many minutes ago did that thing died.
Either in case of living objects or non-living objects, they can be safetly removed from SCP-X after its response by removing its top part. Objects removed from SCP-X aren't damaged or harmed in any way.
Attempting to insert liquids into SCP-X, gave no results. The same thing happened when inserting more than one object at time, with the exception of money.
During an experiment, an SCP-500 was inserted in SCP-X. The output of SCP-X was [REDACTED]
It is not known where SCP-X takes the paper and the ink it uses to write its answers and how it does it, as it seems to be completly empty inside, and no sounds are heard when SCP-X throws out the answer sheet.
It isn't know whether SCP-X has or not, an infinite supply of paper an ink, and because of this fact, any personell assigned to SCP-X for experiments, require the authorization of Dr.█████████ before using SCP-X.
