I'm having trouble getting the style of writing down and I'm sure there are some typos and grammatical errors in here but I tried. id also like some feedback on stuff I should add or cut out because I don't really know if the flow is correct. I'm also not sure if I got the references to the SCP universe correct. I am also unsure if I did the test logs correctly. my last problem is I don't know if my containment procedure makes sense. thanks in advance for your help! my sandbox is: http://scp-sandbox-3.wikidot.com/woodstock1
forgot to add that I don't know if the test logs are supposed to be formatted like that.
Woodstock1, instead of replying to your own comments, please edit your previous post using the "edit" function under the "options" tab to the lower right of every comment. That prevents spam buildup, and it's in the rules.
Please remember that review staff prioritize threads with no replies, so adding extra comments to your thread will lower its visibility and make it less likely that we'll see it needs a review on the forum listing.
Also, out of curiosity since you mentioned you're not sure which details to cut, did you happen to get the core concept reviewed in the Ideas and Brainstorming forum before writing the draft?
I just edited my original post to include the test logs issue. How do I delete my comment? It says that only site administrators can delete it.
Also I’m pretty sure I understand the core concept of writing an scp but it’s much more difficult and confusing that I originally thought it would be and at this point I just want what’s best for my scp because I’ve done all this work.

Only mods and admins can delete comments, and we only do so when they contain severe rulebreaking material.

Yeah, I asked since what you have here seems to be a pretty typical animal-with-dangerous-qualities premise, and most of the test logs don't really present much of a unique take on the predictable "it hurts people/things" route. Maybe take a look at this essay on common SCP pitfalls if you haven't yet?

This is why we try to encourage that authors get feedback on a concept before spending a lot of time on a draft with a fundamentally shaky premise.
There's admittedly a lot going on here, with all the stuff about these crabs being hostile, apparently carrying a disease, and also being incredibly poisonous. However, not a lot of it is particularly new so far as generic monster SCPs go, so you'll need something to keep a reader's attention.
Also, the Foundation is kind of incompetent as presented here. Why did they run the human consumption test before the animal one? Why didn't they analyze the content of the crab meat before feeding it to anything? Why did they feed the meat to anything at all?
There are furthermore many simple errors in the draft. You mix up "effect" and "affected", don't always capitalize "Foundation" correctly or the the start of sentences, and are missing some punctuation.
Are you willing to get the concept polished up first? I feel like that would be the way to go here, since the draft will need to be heavily edited anyway to get the writing up to standard. Might as well do those edits with some audience-approved ideas in mind.
Great to know and I’ll definitely keep the whole getting feedback on an idea before writing a huge draft in future SCPs. Looking back at the draft I feel like the test logs were definitely the weakest part and I see now that most of it doesn’t make a ton of sense. I really want to keep going with this idea though, how would you recommend polishing up the concept? Again thank you for all the help you’ve offered!

Go to the Ideas and Brainstorming forum and post a quick summary of the concept you want to write up (don't link the draft unless someone asks). Let reviewers know what kind of piece you want to write (scary, funny, makes-you-think, sad, etc.) and what are some parts that you want to keep for sure.
The reviewers there can then help you figure out the details that are needed to make the concept interesting, and how to set up the eventual article so far as supplements (logs, incidents, experiments, etc.) go.
