SCP Foundation

I have 2 variations for my idea, but the main thing is that it is early prototype Class A amnestics. To use it you must have a tube feeding you it and then another tube will remove it (like dialysis). However, instead of wiping the memories, the amnestics absorb it instead. Since the amnestics are reusable and are stored in 1 tank, over time they become sapient.

The amnestics learn how to talk when they absorb the memories of someone who knows morse code. They vibrate in morse code, accidentally breaking their tank and thus alerting the Foundation (because it vibrates).

I personally don't really like this idea. It just doesn't seem like the way this would occur makes sense. I doubt the foundation would reuse materials just to cut costs. And they are working with a prototype, so they would be even more careful to make sure that the drug would not have side effects (like gaining a personality and becoming sapient). I also don't really see why the being(s) would have the ability to change their focused ability, memory loss, to something like changing a person's personality or ability to lie.

I personally think it could be fairly comical if the second idea is more of a containment procedure. Because the sludge would be easier to deal with if it was always fighting itself to have its ideal power, when in reality it is just a memory loss drug and can't change. That is just a suggestion of mine for what you could do for a story for this being(s). The discord would be much easier to deal with than a fully agreed being.
