A virus that makes living matter to decompose.
It was found by arctic explorers in 1947. It gained the attention of the foundation when a station stopped sending and responding to radio signals for 7 days raising suspicion and leading to an investigation of the arctic base, it was found decimated with the majority of the staff in late stages of decomposition. After 24 hours all 25 members of the exploration team had perished in an identical way.
This virus is spread (1) by direct contact with infected individuals; (2) by contact with contaminated objects; and (3) by inhalation of virus-laden aerosols.
