if the object in my article has a property, but the foundation at first thinks its another property, would i tag both of those properties or just the actual property?

for example, something that the foundation thinks is from another universe, but is later discovered to be from the future.

I believe that tags typically describe the SCP in its most "honest" form.

For example in my SCP-3939, the tags describe the final state of the SCP rather than a gramophone, as it's initially presented as.

I'd advise you leave it to Tech Team rather than tag it yourself.
