The Foundation initially became aware of his existence in 1981 when three police of Tsumkwe disappeared, only to be found three days later in the Okahandja Constituency. Tied up5, asleep and with no recollection of what happened to them, each had the claw of a mongoose in their hand when they woke. Similar incidences repeatedly kept occurring up till 1985, with soldiers and farmers disappearing. Some were found dead, either by strangulation or by arrow heads daubed with the boiled root of the ouzuwo6.

Research on this Karcist has been conducted by a team of Foundation agents masquerading as anthropologists, archeologists, and fellow followers of Nälkä over the last decade. His growing influence and the potential threat he poses because of this influence are a huge concern to the Foundation, whose efforts to locate him as of yet have failed.

Grand Karcist Daq was an indigenous San of the Juǀ'hoan tribe in Namibia. He was raised living the hunter-gatherer lifestyle and, according to the elders of the tribe who remain alive, he was a ''strange'' child, having the uncanny ability of foresight, and was hyper-sensetive to sensory information; seeing, smelling and hearing more than the average human is capable of. This was considered unusual even for a hunter-gatherer, the average eyesight of an Australian Aboriginal sometimes being more than four times better than non-Indigenous people.7

Locals who claim to have made contact with Daq generally describe him as having been a cunning and sly indivisual, sensitive and humorous, suspicion being his weakness, which made him ''hesitant and paranoid''.

In the year 1981 his father8 was jailed for killing a Tswana farmer's cow and jailed. Daq never saw his father again, so he repeatedly killed livestock in order to attract police and take them by surprise, strangling them in the dark. Sometimes he captured them, and there are records of police being discovered fifty miles away from their post.

These activities effectively left his family to fend for themselves, and his escapades brought him further and further away from the tribe. His hatred for the government and its treatment of his people drove him to become a one man army against the government of Namibia; theft of gasoline for military vehicles and various sightings of an armed ''boogey-man'', lurking ''savage'', and witchdoctor have all been linked to him.

Having a particular interest in christian missionaries, he made it his business to learn all he could about Christianity, just so he could engage in debates using the little Afrikaans he's learned from his travels. Missionaries who claimed to have debated with him say he was the most quick witted, fast talking man they had ever met, having great command of English and all its idioms. Brother Jehan, a Jesuit missionary to the Tsumkwe in Namibia, has recorded one such debate in his diary.9

During this period SCP-2929 was found to be broadcasting messages like Go east or Come to me, and subsequently Daq's presence in Namibia is thought to have ended in 1985. In December 1st 1986, Katavi national park, an ultrasound wave with an initial power density of I0 = 1 mW/cm2 and frequency f= 2MHz was detected in the upper Troposphere, which decreased to 200kHz in three hours and then below the scale detectable by any device known to man10. Another sound was detected with a frequency of 240 dB, enough to explode a human head and equivalent to the level obtainable by nuclear detonation, and rather than decrease, it increased frequency up till 280 dB, causing weather problems for three hours until abruptly ending.

The source of these ultrasonic wave was found to be SCP-2929, which was, in all actuality, using them to distract the Foundation from its Morse code messages to Á'àn-Kètàngà11, made by causing faint but nevertheless detectable vibrations in the earth. It isn't known how the entity referred to as Á'àn-Kètàngà, aka Grand Karcist Daq, produced the same type of communication back, as he isn't known to possess a means of creating such vibrations.

Daq shows up again in South Africa, where he became a member of the George, Western Cape branch of the self proclaimed "Karcist". He quickly rose from a mere disciple to an advisor after showing skill in influencing people into becoming, in his own words, unknowing members of Nälkä.

He demonstrated an unsurpassed level of concentration, on various tasks, missions, and even on a personal level, that had not been observed before in Neo-Sarkic groups. Most Neo-Sarkic sects in the West and in South Africa focused on conducting sacred orgies and festivals, but Daq was reported to have never attended these because of both natural distaste for the kind offered and because of his intense focus on duty.

In the year 1988, Daq became curious as to the origins of the Valkzaron scriptures, of which the Neo-Sarkic group he had joined only had partial excerpts. He began to embark on a journey to find the origins of Sarkicism. Unsatisfied with the particular copies of the Valkzaron available to him at the time, he left his particular sect after a heated confrontation and debate with the leader of the Neo-Sarkic group, Pieter Vorstedt. The relationship between Pieter and Daq had become increasingly strained, with rumors that Daq had grown sick of Pieter's inactivity and exploitation of children.12

A schism occurred, and nearly half of the cult joined Daq in leaving Pieter's sect. The Foundation has estimated one hundred and fifty Sarkics joined Daq.

Daq spent a year in Siberia, devoting "entire days and nights to study without eating, sleeping, and barely drinking."

A Selkup shaman called Syndjeka, upon being told by Daq of his San origins, is said to have told him about the travels of a Bushman to Israel and even Siberia, where he, in myths which have not been reported amongst the Selkup until now, fought against the Aryan Deva and freed their slaves.

Daq spent another two years there among native Selkup, Nganasan and Ket. Allegedly, the Proto-Sarkic Ket deemed Daq to be the reincarnation of Atonos13, an unknown figure of the Valkzaron. The Ket's description of Atonos is consistent even amongst different but related tribes: sun kissed, smooth skin, an even nose, not pointy or beak like, of short stature, possessive of handsome physique.

The Ket are said to have seen all these qualities in Daq, and this initially made then curious about Daq. They asked him to speak his original language, and to the astonishment of Daq, the elders could partally understand him. They appeared to speak an earlier version of Juǀ'hoan, perhaps Proto-!Xuun or Proto-Kx'a, answering his Juǀ'hoan utterances with the very same words, but in a more archaic, preserved form, which is believed to have been passed on to them by Atonos himself. The conversation has been recorded by two hired Russian spies, Aleksandar Dragović, and Victor Kravchenko who had obtained the information while hiding under the snow.14

Tumssul, a Ket Shaman who claims to be a direct descendant of Ion, then appointed him as their Grand Karcist in 1995. The native "shamans," even those who didn't ascribe to the particular set beliefs held by the Ket, accepted Daq as their healer and priest. Significant activity was then observed by the Foundation all across Siberia, with rallies and recruitment being conducted by fifty documented Russian civilians.

There are witnesses among the Ket who claim to have seen Daq engage in the execution of supernatural acts.

The abilities he is supposed to have are the ability to create sensory illusions, to bring back the recently dead, immortality, sharing oneiric experiences, and the profound ability to share physical sensations with others.

Daq apparently believed these claims and sought to remember his past life as Atonos, so he indulged in various rituals designed to conjure up the memories of past lives, the results of which are unknown. He also is believed to be linked to a break in of a remote Ural Foundation facility, called -G, which contained three copies of the oldest text of the Valkzaron15 found (which dates to 1500-900 BCE).

A few months after the break in, appearances of Daq's presence in New York, in the year 1995, were reported by agents of the Foundation. He went by the alias Deathless MC, and claimed that his beliefs and life were the lyrics to a grand, never-ending lyrical.

Ex-Followers of Daq's revived Proto-Sarkicism, who generally believe that they barely scratched the surface of the cult, report that Daq dubbed the so-called Neo-Sarkics and their beliefs irrevelant. He disregarded the teachings attributed to Ion and Atonos by many Sarkics, claiming that he was Atonos himself, albeit in another life.

In 1992, Daq returned to South Africa and found the Pieter Vorstedt's cult in disarray, with several allegations being made against Pieter including sexual molestation, rape of young children, and the murder of reporters.

Pieter died from poisoning during an orgy held in Johannesburg, and a note was found in the crime scene which read, The fire that warms can also kill, it is up to you to decide which. If this murder was committed by Daq, then it is quite contradictory with his so called pacifist teachings, although semi-followers of Daq claim that Daq played a game with Pieter. Supposedly, he had two cups of water, one poisoned with Polonium 21016 and one not, switched around by a servant while both he and Pieter were blindfolded. By the power of the fates, Pieter died instead of Daq, which gained him even more followers. Because of this it became increasingly difficult to pin his location, and after 1992 no agent could say for sure where he was.

It is currently unknown where Daq is, as all of the agents commissioned to watch him have went rogue and killed several assassins meant to take their places. These rogue agents now go by the names Dalet, Vav, Zayin, Samekh, Ayin, and Shin, and have been playing the role of ghost writers in the new York hip hop scene. Whether or not they are affiliated with Sarkicism or with Daq is unknown. The songs they have submitted are mostly complex lyrical raps which criticize the oppression of non-whites and hypocrisy of certain Christian pastors.

A piece of writing supposed to have been written by Daq however, has recently been discovered in an anonymous letter to an unknown receiver. The letter appears to be doctrinal in nature, especially since it is entitled the Illuminated Words17. It was in the process of being delivered in the streets of Shreveport, Louisiana, by the hand of a Five-Percenter called MC.

MC was detained and interrogated, with the mild use of torture used to no avail since MC knew very little about the Karcist or Sarkicism. He did reveal that he was given the letter by another messenger like himself, who is supposed to have come from Russia. MC's mental health began to deteriorate from the moment of confinement onwards, even though the means used to interrogate him consisted of slight pain techniques18. Moments after his release he was found dead on the sidewalk.19

The Foundation is now currently attempting to infiltrate the Daq's organization and confine him to containment, and when that time comes he will be reclassified as an SCP.

Background on Atonos

Atonos is a figure described in the oldest know copy of the Valkzaron which, in the youngest copies, has been entirely erased. It is thought that this is because, over time, Atonos became more of a concept. This is similar to the development of Yahweh in Abrahamic religions, who was quite anthropomorphic in the earliest biblical texts, but gradually became more and more aloof, eventually becoming reduced to, "God is love", or "God is spirit."

The development of Atonos had several shifts and twists readily observable in late Iron Age and Common Era texts. Instead of being seen as an actual historical figure, Iron Age followers saw him as a symbol of freedom.

Several proverbs, or sayings, are attributed to Atonos. They dwell on dozens of topics such as physical slavery, ''mental'' slavery, eunuchs, the assumed dangers of asceticism, the creation of the universe, and immortality.

The stubbornness of the donkey is a virtue, for man cannot so easily enslave him.

Moderation is the key; consume honey, but no more than two drops.

Man cannot number the stars in the sky, the grains of sand or the hairs on his body, how shall he then determine the years of the universe?

What Oras calls good is the passive, the submissive, the self destructive. When one rejects nature they are falsely called good. Evil is active, virility, wild but calm. We are to embrace our energy, and follow what the Oras calls evil, but with moderation and due restraint. For fire both warms and destroys, it is up to man to decide which.

The cistern contains, the fountain overflows. May your fountain be blessed.

The linguist who translated these texts, Sinclair Cooper, and his brother, Vincent Cooper, are at a loss to explain the fact that this text appears to have influenced the Song of Solomon, written centuries later. The text was discovered in a south-western Siberian temple located in the Tyumen Oblast, by Russian archeologists in June 13, 1960, the temple being subsequently dated somewhere between 1500 and 900 BCE.

The text describes Atonos as a ''slave king'' who escaped bondage from Kemet, making his way along a Silk Road of a sorts, eventually reaching Ion and becoming his brother.

Ion and Atonos undoubtedly have many similarities, and the Valkzaron makes mention that they shared a common enemy, the Tystad, aka the Deva. It is believed that the Tystad were Indo-European speaking peoples, possibly part of the Andronovo, which had began pushing eastwards driving back the indigenous Siberians.

According to one Ket legend, the Kets originally settled in the southern part of Siberia, either in the area around the Altai and Sayan Mountains, or between Mongolia and Lake Baikal. The arrival of invaders in the area, however, forced the Kets to flee to the Siberian taiga in the north. The legends state that these invaders were the Tystad, or ‘stone people’. Both the Valkzaron and oral tradition attest to their existance.
